Bio

Tess Mon Pere is an 18 year old singer who is originally from Fresno, California. She grew up in Central California surrounded by her parents, 2 brothers and her sister. Her love for music began from before she could even talk. Her mother always says that she was always in her crib singing little melodies. As she grew older, she began lessons to improve her music and dance skills. She then joined her school’s choir program in the fifth grade, where she continued to sing for another nine years. She attended Clovis North High School where she sang in their advanced choirs which granted her the opportunity to sing in amazing places such as Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco and Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles.

Aside from choir, Tess was involved in musical theater and Miss America organization as the first runner up of Miss Fresno County’s Outstanding Teen. She began singing the American National Anthem throughout the Central Valley. She performed at many local venues, including the Savemart Center and Selland Arena. She was singing the National Anthem at her high school where she was approached by a local sportscaster to appear on his radio show. During that interview, they encouraged her to follow her dreams and get her music out there. She began uploading her singing videos to YouTube where she was discovered by a talent scout for the first online international singing contest, Musicash. She was a Musicash finalist and Golden Coin recipient which ultimately led to a deal with West Avenue Records. Her biggest inspiration is Lady Gaga because she is an amazing musician and performer, and she encourages her fans to embrace what makes them different.
